MELVIN LIMA is a Cuban-American actor, writer and producer living in NYC. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida.
His professional acting career began in commercials in MIAMI in 2008. After booking two national spots (VW, KFC) IN 2011, he moved to New York and began training at the William Esper studio under Terry Knickerbocker.
In Summer of 2013 Melvin had his first big-screen appearance in the feature film Tio Papi, which was directed by long-time friend and collaborator Fro Rojas. After years of training at various NYC studios (Maggie Flanigan, Anthony Abeson, TK STUDIOS) Melvin began working on independent films and Off-Broadway plays (The Morning After, THE NATURE ROOM).
In 2018 Melvin has appeared on CBS’ BULL, TELL ME A STORY, NBC’s NEW AMSTERDAM and THE BLACKLIST.
He continues to train and audition in New York.
